Concert and Snowmobiling

Ok, so a week late, but here are the pictures from the Country in the Rockies concert last Friday. It was pretty much the best concert I've ever been to. I got there early, so I got a seat in the row right behind all the reserved seats (which was about 15 rows from the stage!).

Lucy Angel

Blue County

Darryl Worley

Montgomery Gentry

At the end of the concert, all of the acts came out on stage and sang "Sweet Home Alabama" together, which of course got turned into "Sweet Home Colorado!"

Last Sunday I got to go snowmobiling in the mountains of Routt National Forest with my friend Blaine. I was under the impression that I was just riding along (especially since I've never driven a snowmobile before!), but when we got up there, he pulled out two sleds. My first thought was, "Oh my God, I'm going to die!" But...after about 5 minutes, I felt totally comfortable. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done! And I do believe that I get to go out again sometime soon!

Starting the climb

I was in utter awe when I saw this view. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!

I definitely stayed at the bottom, there was no climbing for me!

Apparently the top of this peak is the highest you can go in the area we were in (near Bear's Ears). Needless to say, I stayed put and watched Blaine go up, and then watched some other guy start to roll down!!
This was one of the best weekends of my life!!
