This is what I woke up to Wednesday morning. I was not prepared to to brush snow off my car.

There really are more mountains behind there. You just can't see them because of the snow!

The S Word

When I left Steamboat to go to Craig last Sunday, it was a nice sunshiney day, and that's the way it was in Craig too. On my drive back, though, this is what I could see happening in Steamboat. The S word... snow!! I am not ready for snow yet.

I was pleased to find that it wasn't snowing in town, only on the peaks. It's not time yet. I need more fall!

Six Fabulous Fall Days

Another wonderful time with Nate :)

After our fondue dinner at Cafe Diva.

We were on a walk downtown to have dinner at Mambo Italiano. It was actually blue skies and sunny! Crazy how the picture turned out!

We attempted to hike the Devil's Causeway. This was one of the resevoir lakes on the way up to the trailhead.

And this is the reason why we didn't make up it to the Causeway. It started snowing on us!!

Thanks to the weather again, we didn't get to hike to the falls at Fish Creek. So instead we drank wine and carved pumpkins!
